One upcoming release for the Switch that I’m excited about is The Elder Scrolls: Blades by Bethesda. The title designed initially for Android and iOS devices is a free-to-play that got announced for Nintendo’s hybrid system at E3 last year and was then delayed until early 2020. When Nintendo held their March Mini Direct presentation, it was given a “Spring” release window and reconfirmed.
According to the latest Nintendo Download round-up for North America, it said that the title was arriving on 12th May – which is early next week. While it initially seemed like things were set in stone, this release date has now apparently been removed from Nintendo’s North America press site. If the title does end up releasing on the Switch eShop next week, players can expect to look forward to new features. Cross-platform PvP matches, motion controller support, and cross-progression – meaning that you can continue your adventure on Switch or a mobile device. An online connection will also be required to play the game, which is a bummer, but that won’t stop me from enjoying this title.
WIll you be downloading this or giving it a pass? Let me know down below.
