Ubisoft has announced its very own summer digital showcase in place of its usual E3 presentation. It will be called Ubisoft Forward and will take place on July 12 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. Ubisoft posted a teaser on Twitter, but it didn’t tell us which games will be shown, but it does promise “exclusive game news, reveals and more.”
I feel like it’s already a confirmed fact that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which the company recently announced and promised more details on, will be among the games shown. We may see more of its upcoming games slated for release before March 2021 like Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Roller Champions, and Gods and Monsters. Ubisoft also still has an unannounced game in the works.
Usually, Ubisoft’s big summer showcase would take place in June as part of E3, but since E3 has been cancelled. The ESA dropped plans to organize a digital event under the E3 banner, leaving individual publishers to announce and host their digital events. EA and Microsoft have already announced their projects, and we can expect more information to come.
