The upcoming fast-paced mobile spin-off, Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, has been delayed. The game was targeting a Spring 2020 release window but will now arrive later than expected.
The delay was announced on the official Twitter account, which stated that more details would be revealed in June. Fans of the series will have to wait a while to find out when Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road is releasing, but as the tweet notes, “current conditions” aren’t ideal for development.
If the game gets released this year, it’ll be the second Kingdom Hearts title to be released in 2020, following Kingdom Hearts III Re:mind. When the game gets released, Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road will be available in the Kingdom Hearts Union X app, and it’ll be a standalone experience.
