It’s been recently announced that Elite Dangerous is coming out with an expansion called Elite Dangerous: Odyssey, and it’ll release on the Xbox One next year, 2020. For the first time, you’ll be able to explore unique planets and discover a land that hasn’t been touched.
The expansion will let you “take on a wide variety of contracts and play your way,” with various settings, and objectives. The NPCs are said to “offer endless mission variety and a near-infinite amount of content to enjoy.” The player will be able to plan their next move and assemble their crew via social hubs scattered throughout the galaxy, and experience “intense first-person combat” with a variety of gear and weapons at your disposal.
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is scheduled to launch on the Xbox One early 2021; as of today, there’s still no news on the price. Frontier Developments says that it’ll share more information regarding the expansion from now until it is released.
