Codemasters has recently unveiled a new Career mode for Dirt 5, which is launching on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and next-gen systems like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Their community post discussed its narrative, split-screen feature and more.
For the story, it states that you’ll be focused on “standing out above the rest,” with voice actors Troy Baker and Nolan North playing the two main characters’ roles, the story will be a “deep, narrative-driven mode.” It will be separated into five chapters, each containing multiple paths crossing 130 events over nine different race types. The game will also let you “represent the world’s biggest brands” via sponsors, highlighting unique objectives and bonuses.
The best part of this new Career mode is that you can play with four other players in split-screen mode, you don’t have to start a new game either, you friends will be able to come in and out whenever they want.
Dirt 5 is officially launching on PS4, Xbox One, PC and next-gen consoles PS5, and Xbox Series X sometime in October 2020. The game will be 4K with 60fps on next-gen machines, as well as 120fps mode for those who want a boost in frame rate.
